We stumbled upon this place and we were pleasantly surprised! 🌮
The food was absolutely delicious!!!! One person in our party did receive a lukewarm taco and a room temperature drink but everyone else’s food was impeccable. The flavor of the Jerk Chicken taco was amazing! Now it does have a kick, so if you’re not used to spicy seasoning be cautious! The catfish taco tasted like my grandma was frying fish in the back!! The bean taco was textured perfectly and not mushy like some other bean tacos I’ve had. Their corn tortillas didn’t fall apart which is always a concern when getting tacos. When you order chips and guacamole, it’s unlimited! So while we didn’t get a refill on guacamole, it was great to know we had the option!
The drinks are not batch made— the Jose Palmer is made BY CUP so it was SUPER FRESH!!!!
We were in town for a conference and it was evident that they were understaffed but the server was kind and asked for grace! Justin was our server.

Tacos were extremely good. The food was Fresh and had that flavor difference we were looking for from what we are used to in Texas.
Tacos Ranked in Reverse Order
4. Corn Meal Crusted Catfish - it was good but was just average compared to the other 3 Taco's
3. Buttermilk Battered Fried Chicken - Very solid taco would have #2 had it not been for #2
2. Nashville Hot Fried Chicken - This taco was loaded with flavor and good heat. This Taco had my taste buds dancing
1. Oxtail Al Pastor - Easy Win for us. Oxtail was extremely flavorful and extremely tender. The meat just melted in your mouth. The Pineapple salsa sent it to another level. (MUST TRY)
Overall I give this place 5 stars from the tacos to the service.👍🏾👍🏾

Went here today because daughter is trying out different birria taco/quesadillas in the Richmond area. Both food and service did not disappoint. We ordered 3 birria quesadillas (2 in each box), and a 3-taco meal (2 cornmeal catfish and. 1 buttermilk fried chicken) and all were delicious. My kids only ate the birria, and they thought it was delicous, but my favorite was the catfish because the cornmeal on the outside was super crunchy. There was only one person there at the time, Declan, who, not only greeted us at the door with a smile and but was happy to serve. He even hooked us up with extra meat/protein on all our tacos/quesadillas and threw in 4 cans of Pepsi on the house! Definitely going back again to try more from the menu (like the shrimp and oxtail) but also to see our guy Declan again.

This place was worth the stop in Richmond. The decorations, music and experience was awesome. The food was really good! I would like to come back one day, the deep fried carne asada taco is where it’s at!
